SPRINGFIELD (Sept. 24, 2021) — Clark County Administrator Jennifer Hutchinson was named to the Dayton Business Journal’s 2021 Bizwomen Power 50, which was announced Friday.
The list, compiled by the Dayton Business Journal Editorial Board, consists of business owners, high-level executives, elected officials and local government leaders, among others. Hutchinson was also named to the list by the DBJ in 2020.
Hutchinson was hired in 2016 as the third full-time county administrator — and first female administrator — in Clark County history. She holds an MBA from the University of Cincinnati and has nearly 20 years of experience in state and local government. She previously worked for both the City of Wyoming and the City of Marysville.
“We’re fortunate to have Jenny’s leadership in Clark County every day,” said Clark County Commission President Melanie Flax Wilt. “She has led our team through some challenging years, yet remains focused on helping us achieve our long-term goals.”
Hutchinson oversees a general fund budget of about $45 million and about 340 employees. In recent years, the county has undergone several capital improvement projects, including major renovations at the Springview Government Center, the A.B. Graham Building and a new 9-1-1 Communications Center.
