Notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners, Clark County, Ohio, intends to request proposals from financial institutions, issuers of financial transaction devices, and processors of financial transaction devices (collectively, “vendors”) for the purpose of implementing the County's financial transaction devices (“Merchant Services”) program in accordance with section 301.28 of the Ohio Revised Code.  Vendors interested in receiving the request for proposals (“RFP”) must give written notice of their interest by May 8, 2017, at noon, local time.  All devices and methods for accepting county expenses (defined by division (A)(2) of section 301.28) are within the scope of this RFP, excluding cash or paper checks collected directly by a county officer or employee without the use of third party-provided technology.  The RFP will be mailed, on the afternoon of May 8, 2017, only to vendors from whom the County has received a timely request.  To receive this RFP, email or mail requests to the Board of Clark County Commissioners, P.O.
